RTL and Amazon Prime invest in Creative Business TV-format

Great news from Hilversum! Creative Business students have successfully pitched their television concept ‘Master Profiler’ to a panel existing out of representatives of BNN/VARA, RTL, Talpa, Disney+ and Amazon Prime.

The pitch was part of the program of the Dutch Media Week and took place on October 5, in the Institute for Sound and Vision in Hilversum.

‘Master Profiler’ is a television game show about our (in)ability to judge people on their appearance, making smart use of the game mechanics behind the board game Master Mind.

From the panel, two parties were more than interested: RTL (represented by Ralph de Beurs, Head of Creative) and Amazon Prime (represented by Jacomien Nijhof, Head of Originals the Netherlands). They decided to invest in further development of the concept together, which is exceptional because these two parties have never before joined forces in program development. Of course, also our students will be involved in this process.

The student team existed out of Paul Bianchi, Jens Rijnen, Nikki Broeksma, Jayden Rolling, Benthe Schippers and Keven Hanna Rezkallah. The project was supervised by Maarten van Bussel and Jannie Timmermans.
