Our HUB Production House students went on a field trip to RTL Nieuws in Hilversum, on Tuesday 14 March.

The students were given a tour and ‘behind the scenes’ by chief editor online Matthijs Voortman. They could see e.g. the fully automatic news studio, the newsroom and editing suites.
News correspondent Reinoud Broekhuijsen shared some insights on online video production, Laura Veneman explained her role as MOJO (mobile journalist) and news-anchor Daphne Lammers did a Q&A about her life as a journalist.
The field trip was organised by the HUB: the Campus Entertainment Network of Breda University of Applied Sciences.
