On Monday, 29 September, our Creative Business students had the opportunity to attend a so-called Fireside Chat with Behrens, who used to work as a news correspondent in New York for RTL Nieuws before starting his own company.
Behrens shared his life story, emphasising the importance of failure. “I failed a lot, but that helped me succeed.” He also showcased the latest AI innovations used in the industry and even brought an avatar of himself, which answered student questions live in the lecture hall.
“What advice would you give me if I wanted to start my own company?” asked student Cas Janssen. Behrens replied: “Just start. Go to the Chamber of Commerce and start. Also: get involved with https://vianederland.nl/.”
